Royal Mail has come under fire from residents in Stratford-upon-Avon after it failed to meet Christmas delivery deadlines.
The local Herald newspaper reports MP Nadhim Zahawi will meet with the company for a second time over the matter, in which it agreed to deliver all letters and parcels received before a certain deadline in time for the festive season.
Mr Zahawi said he is "very disappointed" the organisation did not live up to its pledge, adding: "Obviously weather across the country was an issue; however, other delivery companies and even paperboys and milkmen made it through."
John Riches, who lives on Broad Street in Stratford, described the situation as "scandalous", noting that many people in the area have important business and financial post they are expecting.
Royal Mail, which recently announced it will be raising the price of stamps, said it had been significantly affected by the wintry conditions.
