Two major events for the electronic commerce and marketing sectors - eCommerce Expo Manchester and Technology for Marketing and Advertising (TFM&A) Manchester - will this month join forces for the second consecutive year.
Small business owners who sell things online and use UK delivery services can attend the combined event at a new and bigger venue, Manchester Central, on May 30th.
It is being supported by IMRG, the membership community for the e-retail industry.
Now in its fourth year, eCommerce Expo Manchester is linked to an annual event in London that has grown into the UK's largest showcase for the electronic commerce sector, with more than 100 suppliers and 6,000 business professionals regularly attending.
TFM&A Manchester was launched in 2011 and is also an offshoot of an expo based in the capital city, which has experienced 13 consecutive years of growth and turned into the UK's largest and longest-running event for the marketing and advertising industry.
The London version attracts hundreds of leading suppliers and more than 12,000 industry representatives, many of whom come to attend seminars and keynote speeches from world-renowned brands such as eBay, Google, Facebook, Microsoft, LinkedIn and O2.
Over 60 leading e-commerce and marketing solution providers will be at the eCommerce Expo and TFM&A Manchester this month, including Sage, Emailvision, WorldPay, Bureau Van Dijk, Click Consult and Apptus.
IMRG described the forthcoming show as "the ideal event for any business professional looking to take the next step in their e-commerce or marketing strategy, from those just starting out to those with a wealth of experience looking for inspiration and the latest solutions".
Free registration is open now.
The UK is the leading e-retail economy in Europe, according to IMRG, with sales reaching an estimated value of £68.2 billion in 2011.
Online purchases result in more than one billion parcel deliveries every year in the UK.
